Therapy & art therapy for creative, compassionate, high-performing women and mothers struggling with anxiety and overwhelm. Find your center and live in alignment with your deepest values.

The most stressful life transitions can become creative and profound sources of growth. Whether you are navigating the profound shifts of motherhood, the identity and relationship challenges of early adulthood, or other transformative life changes, I will help you heal wounds, reduce overwhelm, and evolve into a more grounded, centered, and compassionate version of yourself.

Together we will explore the depths of your experience and your capacity for growth. I will support you to honor your needs and create the changes you seek through greater self-awareness and practical, grounded action.

As a psychotherapist, I blend depth, structure, and creativity in my work with clients. I use tools drawn from mindfulness traditions, self-compassion work, and Internal Family Systems(IFS)-informed practices to help you untangle what feels overwhelming, identifying patterns, clarifying needs, and offering practical strategies for real change. Whether you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or creatively blocked, we’ll create grounded structure to support you in your self-transformation.

I have specialized training and board-certification in art therapy, which is an extraordinarily healing process that uses images to express thoughts and feelings that are hard to put in words. Art therapy requires no experience or even comfort with artistic expression. It only requires a willingness to make your thoughts and feelings visible so you can examine them from a new perspective.

I additionally have extensive experience working with mothers and fathers adjusting to parenthood. I have specialized training in Maternal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International and over a decade of experience as a new parent educator. I can support you through the challenges of the postpartum period with deep, compassionate understanding and a vast body of knowledge about infant and child development.

You need a therapist who is not just an expert, but someone who can deeply understand you. Your therapist should be a person with whom you can feel an authentic connection. Let’s connect over a complimentary telephone consultation to explore whether my approach is the right fit for you.

Areas of Practice

PsychoTherapy

As a therapist who specializes in maternal mental health, art therapy, and life transitions, I help you evolve into the best version of yourself. Whether you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or creatively blocked, we’ll create a supportive structure to help you move forward. My approach incorporates elements of psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and post-modern theories. I will help you to identify tools and techniques to develop your inner strengths and resources.

art therapy

I am a board-certified art therapist, trained to guide clients through the healing process of expressing emotions through image and symbol. Art therapy is a powerful approach for those who feel stuck or find words difficult, or anyone ready to view challenges through a different lens. You don’t need artistic skill, only a willingness to explore. I offer art therapy for anxiety, identity shifts, and emotional overwhelm, especially for creative women and sensitive individuals seeking deeper insight.

support for new parents

I have extensive experience supporting new parents, including mothers experiencing postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, or simply the invisible, emotional labor of parenting. I hold specialized training in Maternal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International, and I’ve spent over a decade as a new parent educator.I offer therapy to support the development of a new motherhood and parenting identity, with awareness and education about baby development.

Happiness is neither virtue nor pleasure nor this thing nor that but simply growth. We are happy when we are growing.
